Suffolk based sculptor, Anna Boon, has been creating and exhibiting her figurative sculptures since graduating in Fine Art in 2008. From her garden studio she sculpts using recycled fabric, resin and wire armatures, then creates molds to produce limited editions in cold cast bronze, iron and stone. Each is delicately patinated and the textures highlighted with wax to provide a worn tonality.

Anna spent many years life drawing, which has given a deep understanding of the figure and her designs are created intuitively, without any preliminary sketches. With references to iconic sculptors like Giacometti, her sculptures eclipse movement and powerful emotions within the static form.
